Hey , hi, hello, aloha to all those people who DO actually read this!!

wow i'm laaame i haven't written/posted in soooooo long...sooo as some people might know i would almost NEVER be out of bed at this time or actually be awake!! why am i awake? why thats a good question ..luckily last nite there was an EPIC storm and at our school then the power went out and THEY CANT GET IT BACK!! YAYAY and boo because i woke up at normal time still >_< nooot fun...

soo have you seen zombieland? meh..probably..bill murray is great!!! Just make sure he doesnt scare u and then you kill him becasue he is actually kinda funny..and ghostbusters is an AWESOME movie!!(does that even make sense..oh well jsut go with it)

recent obsession #1: the percy jackson books!!!!!!!! they are great..the movies mkay but in the movie the guys actually hott..how is that possible he is suppose to be in 6th grade??! but if he was a hot 6th grader tht would be a little......weird...either way..they are awesome!! also in class somehow EVERTHING relates...so my teachers think im sort of mythology genius person..but its just cuz im sorta obsesed!!! sshhh..DONT TELL!!

I have other obsesions but meh..typing..still....too...early...*colapse*

It's been a while. How are you all doing out there, you blog readers you?

Good? That's good. I have a few thought to share out here on the interweb. First of all: Zombieland is an awesome movie. I have heard bad things about it as I'm sure you have too. Don't believe it. Those opinions are wrong. It is a good movie. No matter what. Done.

Also, I am just getting around to seeing the Hills Have Eyes. I haven't watched it yet but it's on my computer just waiting for me. I'm excited. I think I'm going to wait until it's about midnight on a very dark and stormy night. Sound good?

And finally, I am a Lost fan. I had successfully not watched it for the first, what? 20 million seasons? Now having just finished season 1 I am a full blown Lost fan. I knew I was going to watch it eventually, I just was waiting. And I did. Now by the time I am up to the final season, it will be over and I don't have to watch it on TV, I can watch it online (which is what I'm doing now). The only issue with this is is that I know certain things just from seeing commercials these past years and hearing people talk. It's still a great show and I am very into it... Like screaming and crying at the screen. The whole deal.

Showing Off my Beatles Knowledge

So as I'm sure you could tell from Danni's posts, we are snowed in. I am going a bit stir crazy and decided to watch the wonderful movie Across the Universe and try and catch all the Beatles references that are not songs sung in the movie.
Here is what I have so far:

• The Beatles were from Liverpool just like Jude.
• Sadie's name references the song Sexy Sadie and the boys comment on her sexiness when they first meet her.
• Dr. Robert references the song Doctor Robert
  
• Molly (Jude's first girlfriend) and Desmond (Jude's boss) are from the song Ob-la-di-ob-la-da
  
• Jojo's name comes from the song Get Back.
  
• Max is a main character referencing Maxwell's Silver Hammer. Max hammers out a fan, Sadie jokes about him "killing his Grannie with a hammer" and he stole his fathers golf clubs (kind of silver hammers), all directly referencing the song. Max is poor goof-off student referencing the specific lyrics "Back in School/Maxwell Plays the Fool Again"
  
• In the shipyard where Jude works there is a tanker with a yellow underside referencing Yellow Submarine
• Jude's life journey is very similar to that of John Lennon.
• The camera shot outside of Jude and Max's apartment shows four windows. The windows represent the four members of The Beatles. One window is rusted and dirty with broken glass, meant to represent George Harrison and his tumultuous life. A second window is shown in the light with its shutters open, meant to represent Paul McCartney. This second window is casting a shadow over the third window. This third window, meant to represent John Lennon and placed in darkness by the second window's shadow, features an Asian-appearing woman in the window. This woman represents Yoko Ono and how she became the center of John Lennon's life. Finally the fourth window, with its shutters closed and being smaller than the others, represents Ringo Starr, who was the most reserved of the band members.
• The "T" in the title Across the Universe is dropped slightly, just like it is on Ringo's drum in "The Beatles"
• The Strawberry thing as well as a reference to Strawberry Fields is in reference to the artwork for Paul McCartney's first solo album, "McCartney"
• The man who gives Jude his ticket says "When I'm 64... " referencing the song When I'm Sixty-four.
  
• The guitar Jojo uses is the same color as Lennon's Casino
• During the song With a Little Help from My Friends (Not the Beatles original version, I would like to point out) the boys are jumping around in an open Field, similar to the scene from "A Hard Days Night"
• Lucy has a picture of George Harrison and John Lennon in her room.
• The funeral scene is very similar to scene from "Yellow Submarine"
• The number 9 is used a lot in the movie, you find it all over the place. This was a big number in Beatles culture, due to their recording Revolution 9.
• Prudence comes in through the bathroom window and Jude says those words referencing the song She Came in Through the Bathroom Window.
  
• Prudence locks herself in the closet and has to be serenaded out by the other cast members. This is a reference to a real occurrence in India where the Beatles we studying. A girl there named Prudence, was reclusive and did not leave her living quarters to join the other students, inspiring John Lennon to write the song "Dear Prudence." This is also a subtle reference to the Prudence's reluctance to 'come out of the closet' in relation to her sexual orientation.
• Jude singing to Lucy as she sleeps is a reference to Golden Slumbers
• The whole bus thing is a reference the "The Pranksters" which were real, and the Beatles referenced them in their movie as well.
• The blue people in the Mr. Kites song are reference to the Blue Meanies from "Yellow Submarine"
• Sadie's record company "Strawberry Jamz" is a play on the Beatles company "Apple Corps"
• Jude and Lucy's underwater scene is reference to the Rolling Stones cover showing John Lennon and Yoko Ono in a similar embrace
• The roof concert is a clear reference to the very similar Beatles roof concert (Their last live concert)
• In the movie "Yellow Submarine" during the song Eleanor Rigby someone gets trapped in a telephone booth, very much like Lucy does during the riot.
• At the very end, Jude sees Lucy on another rooftop wearing a diamond necklace. She is higher up than him so he sees Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
  

Those were the ones I could find, although I would not be surprised if there are more. There were also some that are too obvious to be listed, so you can figure them out.
Hooray for being a hardcore Beatles fan!

***BLIZZARD*** part 3...i think thats right

Yeah I sorta lost count/got too lazy to remember
This blizzard/snow is SOO thick/ heavy now..i ACTUALLy got lost because we have this MASSIVE snow pile in my front yard and i sorta fell into it..but thats BESIDES the point..
we now have about..hmmm..25 or 28 inches of snow but now its snowing..again SUPRISED?!?!? me too..?
Yeah more shoveling tommorrow..its a BLAST
wow its kinda late..and i have noo idea waht to say because robyn is a BUTT..yes robyn you are soo i dunno

Made up a chocolate chip cookie rap....amusment is getting hard to find (wow I SOO wish I wrote it down)
corny jokes ..TOO MANY CORNY JOKES!!!!
No school tomorrow
Pondered arthur and the episode where they get snowed in...(GOOD EPISODE)
Drank 3 cups of hot cocoa..yummmm ^_^ now have to pee waaay too much (soo worth it)

If i don't write back you know that boredom took over my house and turned me into a monster so i guess i could write but then it would be in monster language and you wouldn't understand...oh well...

Blizzard part 1

so..in case people haven't heard or seen outside..a HUGGGE blizzard just hit...its CRAZY outside..literally I cant see my neighbors yard...CRAZYNESS!!!!!!

Day 2:
so bordem has just erupted in my house
we are reduced to playing family games
weather on tv is getting to boring to watch
we got our FIRST phone call today and my family jumped to the telephone
food is getting short
supplies are getting low
cabin fever is upon us..AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *cue music from Muppet Treasure Island*

When Boredom Attacks!!! *dum dum dum*

Soo robyn is laame and apprently now I do most of the posts. Yeah, it's been a while, we should really post more. So suprisingly right now I am NOT in class..it is FINALLY the weekend!! Nothing much has happened....but at our school the seniors graduate early and then go on a trip to Poland and Israel..pretty exciting right?!?! soo..they now left *tear tear* it was sad because being juniors we got to be really close with them. Yeah, it's sad..*sob*..Actually when the seniors leave they always do a prank on the school or on the junior...grr..>_< !! This year it was kinda laame but kinda cool..they covered our alcove (aka where the junior lockers are) with TONS of tissue paper, fans (for some weird reason...dont really get that) and SAT, ACT prep books. The prep books were funny because of course being a junior thats the one thing is sooooo stressful!! They basically covered our lockers so we couldnt get in them..soo for a while we thought it was funny but then it kinda got..well, boring just standing there with our stuff so we JUST TORE IT DOWN!!! Ohhh yeah, we sure showed them who's boss ...not really...either way soo that was kinda fun but sorta laame. The seniors also put alarms in every class room and they set them to go off at the same time. It was really funny for the first 20 minutes but then they kept going and going and going and going...and on and on (u get the point) but they gave everyone headaches so...still sorta laame. Other years they did these HILarious pranks like one year someone called up a locksmith and got all the codes to every locker in the school and changed everyone's locker combinations...haha...good stuff!!! Another year someone let 3 chickens loose in the school and put on their backs the numbers 1,2, and 4..haha it apprently took a long time for the staff to FINALLY find out that there were actually ONLY 3 chickens...hahah more good stuff!! Those were some GOOD pranks, i mean this year it wasn't THAT bad...Besides that nothing much has happened in the AMAZING ADVENTURE LIVES OF ROBYN AND DANNI!!! Yeah, that was pretty epic, don't deny the truth. So...dats all for now..by the way..purple is preetty ^_^ by the way like the picture?!?! it's fuunnny..heheh...
